Life story
Barbara Ann Gregory was born on December 10, 1955 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to the late Eddie Weeks and Sallie Kelsey. Barbara graduated from Overbrook High School.
In 1973, she gave birth to her one and only son, Kevin Brame, who preceded her in death.
She began her career in the electronic industry working at DRS technology and in 1988 she began working at Cox Communications, where she met the late Warren Gregory, the love of her life. The two continued their love and joined in union in 1989. Barbara was baptized at Smith chapel at an early age. She and Warren joined the Second Baptist Church of Germantown on June 6, 1999.
Barbara leaves for us to cherish many beautiful memories: five grandchildren, Kevyahna, Kaleem, Qiyaamah, Qari and Jabari; her brother, Ronald Brame (Cheryl); father, Robert Kelsey and mother, Sallie Kelsey; a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, family and friends.
