On December 22, 1951, he married the love of his life, Margaret Bridges at the AME Union Church, 16th & Fairmount.  It was the last wedding performed there prior to the move to the church's new location.  To this union his pride and joy, 3 sons, were born; Miguel, IV, Angelo and Chris.

After his marriage, Miguel decided to unite at AME Union Church, where he served as a Trustee for many years, and was treasurer until ill health prevented him from continuing.  He served as an usher and was a board member of the Credit Union.

His special loves were his family and friends.  He was always ready with a smile and a hug.
