Obituary for Mona R. Wilkerson - Millwood
Mona Renee Wilkerson - Millwood, 53, of Darby, PA fell asleep in death peacefully on Wednesday, February 1, 2012 with her family by her side.Mona was born April 1, 1958, in Philadelphia to William and Verline Henderson. She graduated from Overbrook High School in 1975. Mona was known for her love of flowers, scrapbooking and more recently photography. But her favorite hobby by far were her grandchildren. Mona was highly motivated and excelled at everything she did. She was baptized as one of Jehovah's Witnesses in 1974.Mona is survived by her husband, Roderick Millwood; her parents William and Verline Henderson of Parkesburg, PA; 3 children, Kristina M. Wilkerson, Darnell K. Wilkerson, Jr. both of Philadelphia and Brandon J. Wilkerson of Coatesville, PA; a sister, Romy D. Jenkins and her husband Gregory of Coatesville, PA; 5 brothers, Lionel A. Henderson Sr. of San Diego, CA, Kyle R. Henderson and Travis D. Henderson of Parkesburg, PA, Brian W. Henderson of Shamokin, PA and Sean A. Henderson and his wife Chantay of Wake Forest, NC; an aunt, Sherley Vaughan of Coatesville, PA; a beloved daughter-in-law, Lori; 5 grandchildren, Jason, Brandon, Jr., Aleah, Aiden and Makenzie and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends that will cherish her memory.She was preceded in death by her brother Anthony Huggins of Atlanta, Georgia.
