The Obituary
ELAINE V. ROBINSON was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to the late George and Ethel Petty John. She was educated in the Philadelphia Public School System. Elaine went on to meet Henry Hayward and the two were blessed with two daughters, Linda Hayward who preceded her in death and Marilynne Fields, who she leaves in life. Elaine worked in the Garment Industry until she retired. She learned to create a few fashion trends of her own. Elaine developed a passion for gardening and crafting. She also enjoyed food, clipping recipes, as well as magazines and newspapers articles that she found interesting. She lived for the Sunday Inquirer, but she was content with simply reading her Bible. Elaine was able to spend most of her elder years living independently with the help of her family. She was a very private and independent person until her health failed her. Elaine was preceded in death by her sister, Alfreda and grandson, Keefe. Elaine leaves to cherish precious memories: one daughter, Marilynne; four grandchildren, Rodney, Saeed, Alicia, and Davina; one granddaughter-in-law, Crystal; one grandson-in-law, Dwight; a host of great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
